Do I have a due date to fill out my Survey?

yes! Once surveys are sent out, I will have a cut off time 3 months after the campaign ends. Anyone who does not fill out their Surveys by July (the 3 month mark) will automatically have their rewards cancelled and fully refunded.

This is to help me as a small business/artist keep track of inventory, as fullfilling kickstarter rewards 6+ months after the campaign has ended, and long after it has all been fullfilled, messes up inventory, and the amount of income needed to buy the appropriate amount of pins for my Etsy shop and KS rewards, so to keep it organized and smooth for everyone, both you guys and myself, I am implementing this. So please be sure to fill out your surveys before July! :D

If I over pledged on my Kickstarter for a plushie/pin, where do I select it?

If you have chosen a reward tier that doesn’t include an item you wanted to add-on later, and over pledged purposefully on kickstarter, once you finish filling out the questions that fit your reward tier, you will be able to use the extra funds you overfunded to get the extra stuff you want under the Add-Ons sections. Once you reach the Add-Ons section, you will see that you have “available credit”. That is the over funding you submitted under kickstarter so that you may pick the Add-On you wanted ahead of time without getting charged double. :)

My card was never charged.

If your charged was never charged, it most likely errored do to insufficient funds. Be sure enough money is in your account to match the reward tier and shipping you backed for the funds to go through.

I never received my survey!

-Be sure to check the spam box in your email if you never received your survey, it may be hidden in there. - If you used an old email/or different email for your kickstarter started account then the email you usually use, be sure to check the email that is connected to your kickstarter account. If you haven’t received your survey after looking at the two steps above, email me at [email protected] so I can either give you the survey directly, or so I can manually get your reward shipped out to you through email discussion.

Will I be able to buy these pins at a later date outside of Backerkit/Kickstarter?

YES! Once all rewards are shipped out and I have received the product, I will be selling the pins individually on my Etsy aroundFeb or March. My Etsy can be found in the link below. What if my reward never arrives?

All rewards will be shipped in march of 2021 at the absolute latest. (unless any delays occur, in which an update would be posted) If you are National to the USA, your reward should arrive late April at the latest. If you are an International backer, your reward will arrive June at the latest because it can take 4 weeks to get to you. If you do not receive your reward within your respected time frames, please email me at [email protected] with what your reward was and what you wanted and I will ship them out to you for free. :)

What if my reward arrives damaged? Or missing any pins? or I got the wrong pins?

If you reward arrives damaged or missing any pins, or got the wrong pin than requested, please send me an email at [email protected] showing photos of your damaged reward/missing pins, and I will ship you what is it that is damaged or missing for free.

Will I be able to add extra pins to my reward?

Yes, you can do that after filling out the pins that match your reward tier, you will be given the option to purchase additional pins in the add-ons section of your Backerkit Survey. There you can add as many extra pins

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
